Halloween 2011

We had a fun Halloween. We spent the evening at my parents house. My mom made all four kids costumes from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Peyton was Jake, Brady was Cubby, Addy was Izzy, and Drew was Scully. They were so cute. This was the first Halloween that the kids were really excited to go trick-or-treating. They were up to the door by themselves and had a blast. They came home with way too much candy!!

Peyton Turns "5"

Wow, I can't believe that my first born is "5".

Peyton is the most kind, gentle, loving, and smart little boy. His party was at our church with family, and friends. He requested that he have a batman bounce house. He is really starting to turn into a true boy. He now wants to play with batman, spiderman, and transformer toys. My days of Mickey Mouse, Wonder Pets, and Backyardigans is truly over.

Great Wolf Lodge

A couple of weekends ago, we took a last minute trip to Great Wolf Lodge with my family. It was so much fun. You can literally live there. The boys did not want to come home. They enjoyed the water park, but they really enjoyed the wizard theme around the hotel. They got wizard capes and a wand. You can activate certain things around the hotel. It is a game for older kids to play. They had fun pointing the wand at pictures and treasure boxes turning them on. We really needed a weekend away, and it was a blast!!

Boys Fall Activites

The boys are going to be very busy this fall. Peyton is on a t-ball team called Derker Champs, and Brady is doing gymnastics. They are both having a blast, and I am having a blast watching them every week.

Peyton has been in love with baseball since he was 1 year old. He takes it very seriously and is (I can say this because I am his mom) pretty good at it. He counts down his sleeps every week to his practices and he played his first game today. He asked me if his coach would be announcing his name and number to the fans before he went out to bat. He cracks me up! I am thinking that I am in for the long haul with baseball for Peyton. He is in love!!

Brady started gymnastics a couple weeks ago. He has so much fun. He really wants to play t-ball , but he has to be 4 to play. It will be good for him to be in gymnastics to build up coordination, strength, and balance.

Brady is "3"

Brady Jack turned "3" August 14th. He had a wonderful birthday full of friends and family. His party was a baseball party at the splash pad. He got his first bike, and a train table which is his favorite. He is growing up to be a sweet boy. He LOVES his brother, and he follows him around everywhere. Brady has such a kind heart. He tells me at least 10 times a day that he loves me and his brother. I am so excited to watch him grow.

A New Beginning

A new beginning that began May 26th, 2011. A day that would change the boys and my life forever. The summer was full of fear and sadness, but God has been guiding us down the road of this new journey. We have had amazing support from our family and friends.

I pray, "God give me strength as I embark on my new life. Watch over my boys and give me wisdom to raise them to be strong followers of you. I give all my worries and fears to you as it is all in your time".

This blog will be a place to share our journey through our new life.
